Altar Servers
Boys and girls 6th grade and older are eligible to serve at mass. Instruction and practice are required prior to service.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Our Extraordinary Ministers assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at mass. Some bring Holy Communion to the homebound or participate in our outreach to Avon Place Skilled Nursing Facility, Rose Senior Center and local rehab facilities and hospitals. If you are interested in becoming an extraordinary minister please contact the parish office.
Lectors
Our Lectors proclaim the Word of God at Mass. We are always in need of more lectors. If you are interested please contact the parish office.
Ushers
Our Ushers extend a warm welcome to our parishioners and guests by inviting them to celebrate our weekend and special Masses as a community. Our men and women usher duties are to distribute bulletins, assist in seating, assist with the presentation of offertory gifts, take up collections, guide the communion process and tidy the church at the conclusion of Masses.
Cantors
Cantors lead our congregation in song at Mass. Those who wish to assist in this liturgical ministry are welcome. Please contact the parish office.
Choir
Holy Trinity’s Choir enhances our worship at Mass and choral events in the church throughout the liturgical year. Our choir sings at the 10:30 AM Mass from August through Pentecost and meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in the Church. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in becoming a choir member. Our contemporary guitar choir participates at the Noon Mass on Sundays. If you are interested in joining either choir, please contact the Parish Office.
Liturgy Commission
The Liturgy Commission is a small group of active parishioners who help facilitate our liturgical celebrations through song, the proclamation of the Word, and liturgical art and environment. They meet monthly throughout the academic year with the pastor to discuss upcoming celebrations.
Administrative Ministries
PTU
This organization is made up of school parents working together to support the students and staff of Holy Trinity School. Through fund-raising, service and other programs throughout the academic year, our PTU helps to make improvements to our parish school possible.
CYO
Parish youth in grades 4 to 8 are welcome to participate in CYO sports. CYO combines Catholic values with athletic training and competition in football, basketball, and volleyball. For more information please visit the CYO website at http://www.eteamz.com/holytrinitycyo/ .
Service Ministries
Ladies Guild
The Ladies Guild supports our parish through annual events and meets monthly during the school year. It is open to all women of the parish who wish to contribute their time and talent.
Adult Faith Formation Team
Our Adult Faith Formation Team sponsors outreach opportunities available to parishioners on a seasonal basis and performs other works of mercy that benefit those in need in our local community. If you wish to help, please contact the parish office.
Spiritual Ministries
Catechists
Our PSR catechists and Sunday Preschool catechists participate in the Ministry of the Word and share the Faith with our parish children and youth. All volunteers are required to be in compliance with diocesan child protection policies, as well as participate in formation opportunities. Parishioners who are fully initiated, attend Mass regularly, and live according to Gospel principles are eligible to participate. Men and Women Prayer Groups
Holy Trinity has small groups that meet for men and women. Please see the parish bulletin and monthly parish calendar for details on when these groups meet.
Youth Ministries
Junior & Senior High Youth Ministry
Events are held throughout the year for our parish youth in Junior and Senior High. For more information, please see the Sunday bulletin or contact Mr. John Nunney.
Vacation Bible School
This is a week long, half-day program for the children of parishioners. It is held in June for children ages 5 to 10. It offers scripture based activities in an age-appropriate format. Registration is made through the parish office in May.
